I ask you, Governor Fallin, to stop your state’s execution of Charles Warner. Mr. Warner is scheduled to be poisoned by the government of Oklahoma next Tuesday, 04/22/14, for the 1997 murder of Adriana Waller, the 11 month old child of his girlfriend.
Regardless of the particulars of this case, Governor Fallin, a court has told you that your state’s refusal to reveal the provisioning details of the poisons you administer for lethal injections is not lawful. As the chief executive of Oklahoma you must immediately halt all executions in your state until the legal issues are resolved.
Former Attorney General of the United States of America Janet Reno, as well as myriads of scholars, can find no evidence that the death penalty deters capital crimes. In fact, the warden of the famous Sing Sing prison believes that the death penalty exacerbates the violence in his facility by setting an example of cold-blooded killing. Recent studies show that the largest increase in capital crimes is in Texas, the state which executes the most people. As for vengeance, that is the Lord’s, not the government’s.
Please, Governor Fallin, stop this killing of Charles Warner. If this execution goes forward, look around this country for the black bands worn and the church bells tolled in protest of this injustice.
Thank you.

I ask you, Governor Scott, to stop your state’s execution of Robert Hendrix. Mr. Hendrix is scheduled to be poisoned by the government of Florida next Wednesday, 04/23/14, for the 1990 murders of Elmer and Susan Scott.
Firstly, national organizations have documented twenty four death row inmates in Florida that are provably innocent, far more than any other state. Secondly, Florida changed recently to a single drug lethal injection protocol that has never been shown to kill without excruciating pain and suffering. In fact, the victim of a recent execution in Ohio using the same protocol took thirty minutes to die, all the while writhing in apparent agony. Your state’s method of execution defies the Federal constitution’s prohibition of ‘cruel and unusual punishment’. Governor Scott, you must cancel this execution until you can bring your state into compliance with the laws of our great nation.

I ask you, Governor Nixon, to stop your state’s execution of William Rousan. Mr. Rousan is scheduled to be poisoned by the government of Oklahoma next Wednesday, 04/23/14, for the 1993 murder of Charles Lewis during a burglary.
Regardless of the particulars of this case, Governor Nixon, your state’s refusal to reveal the provisioning details of the poisons you administer for lethal injections is not lawful. Three judges on the United States Supreme Court would have granted Mr. Rousan a stay of execution until your state grants him the right to know how the poisons you will use to kill were acquired and handled. As the chief executive of Missouri you must immediately halt all executions in your state until the legal issues are resolved.
