Fulton County, Georgia Superior Court Judge Gail Tusan issued a stay of execution to Warren Hill today just hours before his scheduled execution. The stay is temporary, giving Judge Tusan time to review the effect of the state’s new confidentiality law shielding the identities of lethal injection providers on Mr. Hill’s right to know the provenance of the poison being used to kill him. The stay is temporary, expiring on Thursday, 07/18/13.
