On Tuesday, 04/17/12, the Georgia Pardons and Paroles Board issued a stay of execution to Daniel Greene, scheduled to be poisoned to death on 04/19/12. The stay could last as long as 90 days. The Board wanted to provide time to review defense claims of racism and prosecutor misconduct in Mr. Greene’s original trial.
